Small local merchants were burdened by high annual subscription fees for SaaS POS systems that were overly complex and slow on legacy hardware (Windows 7). They needed a cost-effective, offline-capable solution tailored to their specific workflow.

2.The Solution

Developed a lightweight desktop application using **Electron** and **Node.js** with **SQLite** for local data persistence. Engineered a dual-screen architecture (Employee Order View + Customer Cart View) and integrated raw thermal printing protocols for instant receipt generation.

3.The Outcome

Eliminated recurring software costs for the client. The custom simplified UI (Large fonts/Touch-friendly) reduced staff training time to near zero, while the optimized local database ensured smooth performance even on older hardware.
